Goal Setting & Navigating Resources
Family Liaisons are trained in Mobility Mentoring to assess and help parents set life goals and develop an action plan. As families demonstrate needs, Family Liaisons help to locate resources for the family often using our public database.
Educational Opportunities
We host monthly Educational Workshops for families covering topics such as Financial Empowerment, goal setting, parenting skills and career readiness.
Essential Baskets
Baskets containing toiletries, cleaning supplies, seasonal items, food items and a grocery gift card were distributed to each family three times throughout the year (fall, winter and spring).
Financial Support Request
Family Liaisons can request up to $1,000 in financial assistance for their partnering families based on needs to help the family break through barriers to success.
School Supplies and Holiday Help
Backpacks filled with school supplies as well as holiday presents and meals were provided to families.
WEEKEND FOOD PACKS
We coordinate, raise funds, collect donations, and provide volunteers to prepare food bags for children and families in food-insecure households. Each bag provides a child with food over weekends and holidays when they lack access to free breakfast and lunch at their school.
