Assists with overdue rent after the 10th month, overdue utilities, first month’s rent and utilities for homeless persons, and other emergency needs. Also has a free clothing store and furniture bank. Jackson Park Ministries  5415 Airport Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208 704-333-4280 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 am – 11:00, Appointments must be made in advance. They provide on site, temporary and transformational housing and financial accountability, counseling, a food pantry and clothing pantry for children for infants through age 18 at no charge. Call ahead for Clothing – Self Referral.

Food Pantry – If you have a caseworker at Department of Social Services or if you have a caseworker at Goodwill, or the Charlotte Housing Authority, or Veterans’ Services, or Urban Ministries or Crisis Assistance Ministry, or another human services agency. they can call in a referral. If none of the above applies, please call Loaves and Fishes at 704-523-4333.

Referrals to the Transformational Housing Program can be made at any time. The potential resident needs to call for an interview and fill out an application. Please contact:

Recipients meet with a pastor/counselor for a time of encouragement and prayer when receiving care at Jackson Park Ministries.

Families may visit the Jackson Park Ministry Clothing Closet up to one time every 90-days.

provides free clothing; income level and family situation will be use to determine eligibility; must live in Davidson, Cornelius, or Huntersville; screening and referrals done through Ada Jenkins Center and Soloman House Client partners must live in Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson, or south Iredell County. To receive clothing from Lydia’s Loft, all clients must first come to the Ada Jenkins Center on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9:30AM – 12PM and 12:30PM – 3PM to fill out an application for a referral form, which they may then take to Lydia’s Loft. Please bring ID and two forms of proof of residency. You may bring any two documents showing your current address from this list:
